Terry Thompson
Board Member
Aloha! I'm the Board member that has to commute the farthest to participate in our monthly Board meetings - since I'm now retired and live on the Big Island, Hawai'i. I'm really excited to join the Board to help support Idaho families, because Clemy's Crew is family --- literally. Clemy is my great-niece, and she and her family are my heroes for making a huge positive come out of an extremely tough and life-changing medical condition.
Prior to retirement, I had the privilege of working for 34 years for both Idaho and Alaska Departments of Fish and Game. I've also worked in emergency medicine with Blaine County Emergency Services (Idaho) and multiple years of fighting forest fires with the U.S. Forest Service in Idaho and Nevada.
I've also served on numerous Board of Directors, all during my time in Alaska. I've been honored to support many different organizations - South Peninsula Hospital, South Peninsula Haven House, Kachemak Bay Campus of the Kenai Peninsula College, and the Boys and Girls Club of the Kenai Peninsula.
